Tallulah Falls, GA 30573
This location provides excellent views of waterfalls in the gorge as well as several other waterfalls within a short distance of the park. Campsites are close to the gorge rim trail. There is a suspension bridge and stairs to get to the bottom of the gorge, but pets are not allowed on those.
Pets are allowed on the upper rim and several other really beautiful trails by the lake and creek above the gorge. Campsites and bathing facilities are well kept. We have camped here several times both in snow and heat. Fall foliage is amazing with several hardwoods of oak, maple, persimmon, pecan, hickory, etc... Always a great experience. Neat neaby businesses such as Local Honey Distributor for bee hives and Goats on the Roof with lots of fun stuff. Also, not far distance to Lowes and Walmart, if you forget something.
