Located on Lake Burton, with a relatively flat park for easy navigation for bicycles and wheelchairs. A fully accessible fishing pier sits above a trout-filled creek open only to seniors 65 and older and children 11 and younger, as well as all ages with a Georgia disability fishing license.

Lake Burton is a prime spot for skiing, boating, and fishing. Kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and canoes are available for rentals. Has a fish cleaning station, washer, and dryer. Clean showers and restroom facilities. Campsites are snug to each other and there were not many, but appeared to be very respectful campers and extremely well-kept facilities.

The central location makes it perfect for adventures to explore local area waterfalls, mountain bike trails, shops, and restaurants.
