From Dahlonega, GA, take Highway 19 north for 18.0 miles to the campground entrance on left.

I have camped here multiple times since my childhood. It is one of my favorite campgrounds to camp. The only downside is the occasional noise from the roadway where bikers like to zoom across the "dragon's tail".

* Just beyond the campground are magnificent views from Blood Mountain shown in the last three images. Several other waterfalls are nearby.
